About

Hi, I’m Brigid - naturopath, mother, and the heart behind Wild Health.

I’m a country girl living in the city, and while I love the energy of urban life, I often feel the absence of something deeper... a sense of village, connection, and shared care. That feeling only intensified when I became a mother.

During my pregnancy with my daughter Zarlie, I struggled. Despite being a degree-qualified naturopath, I found the experience confusing and overwhelming. I didn’t know where to turn or who to trust. I suffered from severe pelvic girdle pain and deeply broken sleep and on top of the physical challenges, I constantly questioned if I was doing enough, or doing it right.

But what shocked me most came after the birth.

The information and care available for postpartum women felt so minimal,  so baby-focused and I was left wondering: What about me? No one really talked about what was happening to my body, my hormones, my emotional wellbeing. I felt like I had disappeared in the process of becoming a mother.

That’s what inspired Wild Health,  a gentle, grounded offering for mothers who deserve to feel seen, supported, and truly held. I created four thoughtfully curated boxes, each one filled with naturopath-approved, natural products tailored to the unique needs of every trimester....including the fourth, postpartum.

But this isn’t just about products. It’s about reclaiming care as a daily ritual. It’s about soothing the nervous system, supporting the body, and honouring the emotional and spiritual transformation of matrescence. Because healing isn’t just physical — and motherhood isn’t something we’re meant to do alone.

When I’m not deep in the work of Wild Health, you’ll find me moving my body, catching up with friends, or curled up in front of the fire with my family on a cold winter’s day. Those slow, connected moments are what keep me grounded and they’re the energy I hope to offer every woman who receives a Wild Health box.

Because, you matter, too.

With love,
Brigid 🤍
